The rules that govern your use of this website and our services. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

This website (sidequestevents.co.uk) is operated by Side Quest Events Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number to be confirmed). References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Side Quest Events Ltd. References to “you” mean the person using the site.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

3. Using the website

You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any unlawful or fraudulent way.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it is hosted on, or any related system.
  • Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other harmful material.
  • Scrape, copy or systematically extract content from the site without our permission.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the site.

4. Joining the early list

When you sign up for the early list you provide a small amount of personal data (email and optional name, phone number and cities of interest). We use it to send you launch updates and to enter you into the launch prize draw. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data at any time. See our privacy policy.

5. Prize draw rules

The launch prize draw is governed by the rules below:

  1. Open to UK residents aged 16 and over.
  2. One entry per email address. Duplicate or invalid entries will be removed.
  3. Two prize tiers: VIP tickets and discounted entry to the founding tour. Multiple winners drawn at random.
  4. The draw closes 48 hours after general ticket sale opens for each founding city.
  5. Winners will be contacted by email within 7 days of the draw closing. If a winner does not respond within 14 days the prize may be re-drawn.
  6. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative.
  7. Joining the list signs you up to launch updates only. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  8. The promoter is Side Quest Events Ltd. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw the draw if circumstances make it necessary.

6. Tickets and events

Once tickets are on sale separate ticket terms will apply and will be presented to you at point of purchase. In summary:

  • Tickets are sold subject to availability and any age and venue restrictions.
  • Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law or if we cancel or reschedule the event.
  • Children under the age of 5 enter free with a paying adult. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Venue rules apply on site (no smoking inside, no professional cameras without consent, no glass containers, no drugs or weapons, and so on).
  • We may refuse entry or remove anyone who threatens the safety of attendees, vendors or staff.

7. Vendor applications

Submitting a vendor application does not guarantee a booth. Booths are allocated by us at our discretion based on quality, fit and capacity. If your application is successful you will receive a separate vendor agreement that will set out the full commercial and operational terms.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website (including text, graphics, logos, icons, photography and code) is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute or publish any part of the site without our written permission.

Side Quest Events is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any trading-card publisher. All third-party trade marks remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Third-party links

The site may contain links to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and recommend you read their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so – in particular for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the above, we will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of business opportunity or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, this site.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or withdraw all or part of the site at any time without notice.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
